About

Our Foundation

The entertainment industry isn’t struggling because of a lack of talent or technology. It’s struggling because it has lost its foundations.

While audiences are overwhelmed with content, meaningful stories are harder to find. At the same time, many filmmakers are asked to sacrifice family, faith and personal integrity just to survive (in other words, make a living) in the industry. Mentorship has disappeared. Craft has been replaced by message-making. And both filmmakers and audiences (and their respective families) are paying the price.

Film and Family Foundation exists to restore what’s been lost.

We believe great films are made by healthy artists—artists shaped by strong character, disciplined craftsmanship, and supportive community. The most enduring filmmakers were formed through mentorship in environments that valued service, sacrifice, and love. When artists are formed well, the stories they tell carry depth, beauty, and truth.

Through our educational programs, we help filmmakers create their first feature film while building a sustainable career in visual storytelling. We teach both the craft and the business of filmmaking, while showing artists how to pursue excellence without sacrificing their most important relationships.

If we can inspire and heal the artist, the art will follow.

Because in the end, filmmakers will always make what they are.
